- USCKF Tai Chi Pushing
Hands Rules - Pushing hands rules vary from tournament to tournament but
the USCKF's rules are representative of a typical set of push hands rules.
They include rules for both stationary and moving push hands.
- United States Chinese Kuoshu
Federation (USCKF) - USCKF has an annual tournament every July in Baltimore,
MD. The main event is Lei Tai fighting (70 Lei Tai competitors in 1997). Lei
Tai is vigorous full contact fighting on a raised platform. But they also
have moving and stationary Tai Chi pushing hands competitions. Sample demonstrations
at the 1997 competition included Wai Lun Choi from Chicago (Pa Kua Chang and
Chi Kung), Pat Rice (Yang Tai Chi Chuan), Guang Yi Ren (Chen Tai Chi Chuan),

- Master Wong was coach of the U.S. push hands team that came in second in
the 1990 tai chi push hands world competition in Taiwan. The first and only
U.S. team ever to place in the championship, coming in second to Taiwan in
the team standings and winning the top three individual places. He sponsors
an annual pushing hands tournament in San Francisco every Fall that includes
